Sorry Steve, I don't have any info for you at all, but it would be great if you would share what you come across.

Cheers
Hi Steve,
I rode a small section of the trail a couple of years ago. I started from our accomodation (Riverside Retreat, highly recommend it) at Nornalup and did only an 8km section and return. It was wide fire road type trails and in some sections very sandy, in some parts too sandy to ride and flat. Frankly not my idea of fun as I prefer single track like that found at Turner Hill (Dwellingup) and Pile Rd(Collie/Dardanup). I know some other fire road trails down there that are really hard going but the scenery is awesome. I'll see if I have a mud map I can send you. Other than that, there is evidence of sections of the Bib Track (Walpole area) being used by MTB'ers which as fun as it looks, I haven't done and certainly don't condone. I believe there are some trails in the Albany area but not sure where they are or who to ask, maybe the local bike shops would be your best bet.

Good luck and have fun
Thanks Dale i'll try phoning around a few bike shops see if they turn up with anything, much appreciated

Hi Steve
Graham Mason at the YHA in Denmark hire bikes and offers drop offs etc. for bike tours in the Denmark region. I'm sure if you contacted him he'd be happy to provide some up-to-date info for you. www.denmarkbluewren.com.au

G'day Steve and others,

Probably a little late for "Christmas".
The trail is well established. It does not go from Nornalup yet.
The only completed section at this (west) end is between Conspicuous Beach Road and Peaceful Bay Road (10km).
It starts again at Parker Road and goes all the way to the Hay River a total of about 45km.
I walk so please don't run me down.
There is a pamphlet/map called "Denmark Nornalup Heritage Rail Trail Great Southern Western Australia"
It is supposed to be available from the Denmark Tourist Bureau but I eventualy located a copy at the Denmark Shire Office.

regards
Alex
