Trails Reference Group - Achievement Summary
2011 has been a very exciting and busy year in the WA trails sector and I am pleased to provide this report on the achievements that were influenced by the Trails Reference Group (TRG) in 2011.
I would sincerely like to thank the fourteen TRG members representing government agencies and community organisations, for their contributions throughout the year. There were also four subcommittees active through 2011 driving the major initiatives of Trails Hubs, TopTrails, Trails Grants and Metro Trails. These subcommittees involved a further twenty trails advocates and I thank them for a job well done.
Research is suggesting several emerging trends in WA trails and these will provide the TRG with an exciting range of challenging agendas in 2012 and beyond.
Jennifer Riatti
Chairperson, Trails Reference Group
