Trailtalk

Western Australia's premier trails social network

Hi There ,

Do you feel lonelywhen you have a look at Trailtalk and see that not much has changed on it since your last visit ?

I see it as a great means of communicating between people with the same interests .

I wonder if there is some way that its existence , can be promoted and use of , made attractive enough for people of the extended age group to have a look at and then have a go at placing their own thoughts on screen. I know that when I first looked at it , and had thoughts about going to print , I thought that a Blog was somthing that you did in the bush behind a tree .

I feel that if somehow we could promote it in the Bibbulmun News and other user groups news, and read about its  use and how to use it in the users guide , [ shown to the right of this page] ,we might then see input from people who would really like to say somthing but do not have the confidence .

I think that once you have seen ' your' comments actually on screen, you will then be attracted to have another go at it .

If this idea works then I feel that it would not take long for us to see a lot more input from the Trailtalk readers .

Kind Regards to all .

Don

I feel there is a lot of people who are new to forums and blogs and are a little shy at posting their thoughts up.

Or they are a little unsure how to use the site.

Once they get used to the forums, I know more people will contribute.

I would encourage everyone to post up their thoughts on topics in the forum.

Once the conversation gets going... it wont stop.

Hi John ,thanks for your reply . May be this is the start , I really do think that when people start to see that they can put somthing on screen , with out thinking it might be silly , we are going to get the ball rolling .
Who is going to be next to have a go at it ? .
We can write what ever we like, about what ever we are doing or has been done ,preferably in the positive at this stage.
Give it a" go"
