We presented a rough concept plan to the BORCAG (BlacKwood Off Road Cycling Advisory Group) committee which turned out very interesting.

Included ideas were for parking facilities,free ride,jump park, xc course, epic riding, links to whicher trails, donnybrook, Kirup and mundabiddi trail.

Downhill is about the only dicipline the area is not suited for.

It was suggested we revisit the land that the shire and Dept of resources had previouly denied us access to, The suggestion was to keep trying, because the topography is some of the best for the ideas and style of riding we wish to have. Try, try again.

The next step will be putting together a more detailed concept plan and going back to the Shire and the Dept of resources to gain access to the better parts of the land.

Happy Valley is a DEC block of land residing in the shire of Capel. It is located about 10kms South East of the Capel town site.
DEC has listed this block under the Blackwood Master MTB Plan as a potential site for a Monutain bike park. 

FRIENDS OF HAPPY VALLEY MTB TRAILS is a group from the South West Mountain Bike Club who will be involved with the advocacy/approval, design, build and maintenance of the mountain bike park.
