Trailtalk

Western Australia's premier trails social network

Sport and Recreation WA, a division of the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, invites stakeholders and interested community members to the following FREE event.

The 2018 GOLDFIELDS TRAILS FORUM aims to increase attendees knowledge and awareness of the importance of trails developments within local communities and the positive benefits they provide.

Trails play a significant role in encouraging participation in outdoor recreation leading to important health, social and cultural benefits while also driving economic growth through nature-based and adventure tourism. Hear from our industry experts as they discuss the importance of effective trails planning and management, funding and promotional opportunities, as well as some of the exciting projects happening around the state.

The Trails Forum will consist of two separate events tailored to the surrounding communities:

Forum 1:

Monday 7th May

Kalgoorlie-Boulder

Forum 2:

Wednesday 9th May

Esperance

See attached flyers for more information for each event and to register your interest.

Please feel free to circulate within your networks.
