Jeanmarie Collens is currently Manager of Corporate Services for Perth NRM, a for-purpose organisation in the natural resource management (NRM) sector working to improve the environment.
Originally from New York, Jeanmarie moved to Australia in 1992 where she worked in the not-for-profit and higher education sectors including Swinburne University, Community Arts Network, and the Film and Television Institute.
From 2008 to 2016, Jeanmarie and her husband lived in New York where she worked for philanthropic organisations. She was a Senior Grants Manager for the Atlantic Philanthropies, an independent, limited-life foundation working in six countries. As Associate Director of International Operations for the public charity American Jewish World Service, Jeanmarie oversaw the administration of human rights grant making in 17 countries.
Jeanmarie has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and post-graduate diplomas in project management, management practices, and workplace training and assessment. She brings strong governance skills and strategic thinking to Trails WA along with business development and fundraising acumen. Jeanmarie enjoys biking and hiking and exploring WA’s beautiful landscapes and believes it is imperative we protect and conserve the environmental values of our trails.
