The 35-kilometre Murray Valley MTB network of purpose-built single-track trails offers riders a stunning experience with a variety of trail types and styles. From traditional cross-country trails through to all-mountain descents into the valley, and trails suitable for beginners to advanced riders - the Murray Valley trails have something for everyone!
Weaving through Lane Poole Reserve, the Murray Valley mountain bike trails are part of the Dwellingup Adventure Trails network, which includes walk, cycle, drive and canoe experiences. The icon for this extensive and exciting network is the karrak, also known as the forest red-tailed black cockatoo. Its large size, striking red tail feathers, loud ‘karraaaaak’ calls and noisy eating habits make this uniquely West Australian cockatoo easy to spot in the forests around Dwellingup and Lane Poole.
The Murray Valley MTB Trails were officially opened On October 16 2020. The trails were funded by the Murray Valley Shire; Federal Government and State Government with Senator Matt O'Sullivan, Minister Stephen Dawson MLC And Shire President Councillor David Bolt all there to cut the ribbon.
