I parked beside this dead tree unknowingly, while looking at the hard headed tree across the rd. When I looked up at the sky and saw this tree, I just had to take a snap and put into my Trail art album.

Pile rd xmas ride

Night riding at Pile rd trails has been going strong for over a decade.

Sneak Peak of new trail on grizzlys



A new trail section funded by lottery west and built by 3 chilles has been started.

Here is the 1st section that will please dirt jumpers and trail riders.

Wheel Build Before Breakfast

I woke up early and could not get back to sleep, so I stripped a xc wheel and built a back country wheel before breakfast.

Stripped a Huggi FR hub on xc rim, dh hub (dont ask)



Built up spare Mag 30 rim with Straight gauge spokes x 32

xc wheel beforehand…

i do prefer the more technical trails such as turner hill, forsythe mill and little ovens but don't mind the heritage trail and especially the munda biddi trail aswell.
what sort of trails do you prefer?

been on the munda biddi for the last two week hence the late reply.
the bike is a Cannondale Moto2 with fox talas 36 on the front 160mm travel
and fox dhx4 on the rear
