I would recommend Albany Backpackers in Stirling St if you are wanting to keep costs down. What a great place to stay, it's close to the Southern Terminus so not far to walk when finish, it's close to the pub for a great meal. Its clean offers breakfast and a clean towel. Parking out the back too.

Background
Hi David
By way of introduction, I am the CEO of Bicycle SA and also sit on the Working Committee of Trails Australia. Bicycle SA has undertaken to deliver the 2011 T&T conference and we are pleased to have Dr. Stu Clement as project manager for the conference. The location has just been confirmed for Sydney Olympic Park, 13-15 April 2011. There are broadly four streams that the Working Committee consider of value (below) and it is expected that the Program Committee will work within these streams as they firm up speakers and concepts. Themes to date are as follows;
Community
• Engagement
• Ownership
• Stewardship
• Volunteers
Destination
• Production and destination development
• Marketing/Events/risk etc
• Land management
• Policy
Design
• Trail and signage standards – local and national
• Sustainable trail design
• Trail monitoring – evidenced based
• Insurance
Business
• Commercial partnerships
• Government grants and program $$$
• Volunteer development and retention
• Evaluation – SEE (enviro/economic/social)
Let me know your thoughts and otherwise happy to discuss.
Cheers
Congratulations on walking the Cape to Cape!
Linda
