This a copy of an email I've sent to DEC. Be careful if you use water from the dam for drinking or cooking.A few days ago I was following the Bibbulmun Track where it goes around the western side of Glen Mervyn Dam, near Mumbalup, and discovered the whole area is used being used as a toilet. Obviously…See More

"The walk at the cliff top at Windy Harbour would have to be one of the best in WA. Photographs don't show how high they really are."

Marty Wallace replied to Frank Roberts's discussion Extend the Track through Perth?
"About 2km north of Worsley the track split and you could either go via Wellington Dam, along a track similar to what the Mundabiddi now follows, or you could go through Collie following the fence-line around the farms to the gap on Patstone road and…"

Marty Wallace replied to Frank Roberts's discussion Extend the Track through Perth?
"I'd like to register my vote against the idea. You may as well widen and  bitumise the track so people can drive it instead of walking. ( I assume you're talking about the Bibbulmun Track? )"

Glad to hear that I got the right person. Marty, thanks for the reply and the news. You are certainly pretty keen on your riding from what I can see and read. I am living in Queensland right now, scene of floods and disasters, but a great place to live also. Was back in WA for Christmas and walked some of the Bibbulmun trail near Walpole and Albany while there and loved every bit of it. Best wishes and keep up the outdoors interests! Terry

Hi there! My interest in bushwalking and Bibbulmun track led me to this site where I noticed a familiar name from earlier days when I was in Collie (1976-7). Are Marty Wallace and John brothers who attended St Brigids and St Edmunds? Just curious. Sorry if I got the wrong people but I had lots of happy memories of mt time in Collie and the friends I made there. Terry Casey
