Dehydrated Meals

Spotted these in one the hiking stores today. They seem to be a little healthier than some of the competitive brands as they do not contain presevatives, and I also like the fact they are Australian made.

Sunshine Coast Great Walk

Im off on a conference at Novotel Twin Waters (Sunshine Coast) in March -its a hard life. What I found out this week was that the conference finishes the Wed before Easter, so I have extended my trip until the Easter Monday.



Hoping there was a walk trail nearby, I was pleased to learn of the Sunshine Coast Great Walk at Mapleton (only 30 -40 min drive from my hotel).

Chuditch Sighting!

S set off from Perth last night bound for my maintenance section of track from Pindalup Rd to the Powerlines. As an excuse to "camp out" I like to head out the night before and get up early to walk my section.



I was very thrilled to see a Chuditch playing along Pindalup Rd. I stopped the car to watch and he continued to play not in the least worried about my presence.

How to stay young

1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay 'them' 

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, walking, whatever. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.'
