Yanchep National Park

The trails around Yanchep National Park are open again. They were closed after wildfires ravaged the area around a year ago. The bush is regenerating and the new, bright green foliage is a stark contrast against the blackened tree trunks on the Ghost House trail. An excellent short walk (wheelchair and pram friendly) is the Dwerta Mia walk trail which takes you through an old collapsed cave system. The kids loved this trail - it looks like dinosaur country and feels mysterious.
