Ok it a slow start to August, with a couple of weeks in Bali. Cant say I did much except sit around the pool bar and caught a bit of sun. Eating at fine restaurants is another great

Off-Track Walking

It is fantastic to be able to walk along designated trails like the Cape to Cape Track and the Bibbulmun Track. There is a certain element of security and reassurance knowing that a well marked trail lies ahead, plenty of help and options to bail out if it gets too hard and that the chances of getting lost are highly unlikely.

Walking in my backyard - Bib track

Oh the joys of blogging ; did a long one , imported photos; and lost it all; not to be defeated ; a different blog second time around.
In 2007 I walked 765 kms across northern Spain - on the Camino Frances to Santiago de Compostela.

Lotterys Funding

We're delighted to have received some funding to help employ a Trails Consultant to help take the Pilgrim Trail to the next level! We've also overcome a possible hitch with access out of Walyunga: its now a viable proposition via Stock Rd (in fact there is no road, but there is a trail and 3 gates to go through, but it's there and the City of Swan are being very helpful to us).
