Phasogale

On a trail not so ridden there is a native squirrel that lives in the bush that few know exists.


Having it pointed out to me on a night ride ride as a canivourous native squirrel that I never knew existed, I now see it often on my weekly rides. Quietly sitting and watching its movements, reminds me of the little squirrel in the movie "ICE AGE". Always busy and always active, preparing for the future.…

IMBA take a kid MTB day

The SW club held its 2nd "IMBA Take a kid MTB day".


Considering the 2nd gand final in two weeks, state xc champs and an event in down south, a turn out of about 30 kids was impressive, along with parents, grand parents and helpers.


Again the see saw was the main attraction for the day, with all the kids attempting it at least once.
Ice creams and fruit juice drinks were a killer too.
