Andrew from Break The Boundary tested the new Collie MTB hand cycle friendly trail built by Paul Neve and crew from 3 Chilli designs

Setting out from Rays trail car park with David Anderson from DBCA and John Wallace from the Collie mtb club, We road up and down along the newly furbished hand cycle friendly trail.

Andrew gave the new trail the thumbs up saying " It's always great trying out new trails in different areas around WA, but it's exciting when the trail keeps a steady flow without requiring the handcycle to stop! Deadcats ticks all the boxes - fun, challenging and accessible to everyone!"

We also did a lap of Rays trail which is built for normal mtb bikes, But was pleasantly surprised at how much of it can be easily ridden by handcycle. There is only about 4 pinch points that were too narrow, but very little work needs to be done to make it inclusive for handcycles.

More work is being done on the northern section to Harris river, riders are being asked to respect the signs to stay off the trail until finished.

Great news - thanks for the update.  Hope the new trails in Collie will go up on the Trails WA website soon.  Do you know if anyone is intending to do that?
