Westcycle - A new peak body for cycling in WA

Recently a new peak body for cycling in WA was created. Westcycle was formed following extensive consultation that culminated in the "Developing a Community of Cycling in WA"  report in March 2010.

Westcycle aims to represent all cyclists and all forms of cycling to grow a supportive culture and a real community of cycling in WA.

I have been elected to the board as the recreational cycling representative. Its early days for Westcycle, but we are moving quickly and will soon engage with cycling groups to begin the important task of developing a strategic plan for cycling in WA.
