THE AMAZING LANDSCAPES OF PURNULULU NP
Purnululu is one of only 4 World Heritage listed sites in WA and as expected the scenery is stunning. Purnululu means ‘sandstone’ and is home to the iconic Bungle Bungles; incredible dome shaped, sandstone mounds, featuring distinctive orange and black banding.
The park is only open in the ‘dry season’ from April to December, depending on the weather and rains. You will need high clearance 4WD to access the park and remember to carry way more drinking water than usual in this climate.…

Yes .. planning on the Cape to Cape in May, then the Bibbulmun Track end to end later this year or next year. Also interested in the Munda Biddi Trail... slowly!

Thanks a lot. I am planning to do the Munda Biddi trail, coming February. I am from Holland, Europe and visited South Australia and a little part of the outback in 2005 for 6 weeks and had a wonderfull time.
Hi All
We take delivery of our brand spanking new BOB Ibex trailers which attach to our mountain bikes, tomorrow and waiting with anticipation for the track to open all the way to Albany so we can be amongst the first end to enders. In the meantime, we are going to do an overnighter and travel from our house in Darlington to the Munda Biddi trail and on to Carinya camp site and ride back the following day. 104k round trip and at a moderate pace so as to enjoy the surrounds. Has anyone got advice for us on this part of the trail/campsite etc? I understand we can take a detour around the Dell.
Also, we'd like to post this in the general area but not sure how. Can the admin team post if for us?

I trekked the Kokoda Trail in April this year and I'm looking forward to some easier treks closer to home. I've created a blog of my journey for friends and family.
